The course of Music Awareness represents the first contact with music for the little ones. Through dynamics based on the experience of rhythm, singing, the perception of sounds, movement and coordination will be introduced to this exciting world!

 

Introduction to music: 30 min/week

 

Choir: 30 min/week

Instrument workshop: 30 min/week

The Initiation courses consist of two years, Initiation and Initiation II, where music is worked from an experiential level, looking for expression and awareness of one's body, along with knowledge of notes and their intonation.

 

Elements of the musical language are introduced through experimentation, creation, improvisation and auditory perception as well as the first contact with reading notes.

 

However, they begin instrumental practice with Orff instruments. The instrument workshop is held weekly where you can get to know the different instruments in the hands of professionals where you can listen to them and experience them in order to find what will be your friend in the following years.

The course Preparatory represents the previous step to the Elementary Grade where, from an experiential and practical perspective, they will learn to read sheet music and learn about various elements of musical language to understand how music works. The ear and intonation continue to develop. In this course, where an instrument has already been chosen, instrumental practice takes on importance with participation in auditions and group classes.
